The Menu

Traditionally, a Kati Roll is a Kati Kebab wrapped in a layered paratha.

Kati Kebabs are chicken or lamb dices marinated in spices and cooked on skewers (the ìkatiî) over coals in a sigri.

When the kati roll is prepared, these are taken off the skewers and tossed with onions, chillies and sauces on the tawa, before placed in a thin strip in the centre of the paratha.

The first kati roll was evolved in Calcutta in 1932 feeding the busy office commuter who wanted a fast and on the go meal.

This concept grew to be so successful that kati roll shops mushroomed all over India and today they are considered the most desirable Indian street food across the globe.

To compliment, we are also introducing sweet notes to the menu. Our Chef, Ashish Bhatia, has created age old Mithais which have mapped the streets of India globally.
